Special Programs at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, NYC
Stephen Wise Free Synagogue is having two outstanding programs in February that are open to the public. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the ordination of Rabbi Sally Priesand, America's first woman rabbi, SWFS' four women rabbis will reflect on their time at SWFS, the changes over the past 40 years and the future of women in the rabbinate.
The program is on February 4 featuring 4 decades of 4 women rabbis, all formerly or currently at Stephen Wise. For more information click here:

On February 16, there will be a program at Stephen Wise featuring Lucille Roussin on Holocaust-looted art. This looks to be a fascinating program about the recovery of Holocaust looted art. Click here for the flyer.

Welcome to the WRJ Northeast District
Welcome to Women of Reform Judaism's Northeast District. Women of Reform Judaism, an affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism, is the collective voice and presence of women in congregational life. Stronger together, we support the ideals and enhance the quality of Jewish living to ensure the future of progressive Judaism in North America, Israel and around the world.
The Northeast District is one of eight districts of Women of Reform Judaism. It is composed of 90 affiliate Sisterhoods representing approximately 11,000 women that come from New York and New England in the United States and Ontario and Quebec in Canada.
The Northeast District serves as a link or liaison between the many local sisterhoods and WRJ. We are here to encourage understanding and support of the programs, activities, and projects of WRJ and to provide direct services to our district sisterhoods.
